Nina & Shaun
WARNING: This marryoke has been performed by professionals. Please do not try this at home.
I've been waiting to edit this since the day I shot it. From the very first second of the very first shot I knew this was going to be one for the records. Normally its the bride that rocks a performance on their wedding day and to be honest, are probably behind the idea of a marryoke in the first place. This was not that day. Although Nina rocked two performances of 'Don't Stop Me Now' at the bridal preps, worthy of any rock diva, it was Shaun who took the 'lip dub' concept and ran with it, albeit in a leg cast. Never in the seven years i've been filming marryokes have I seen a groom put so much effort into not one, not two but three renditions (four if you include the finale) of the song. Boy did it pay off.
.....oh, and did I tell you about the best men. When I casually mentioned to them that I just so happened to have a Freddie Mercury costume and a Bryan May wig (and guitar) they jumped at the chance to surprise the newly weds with an outstanding performance at the end of the evening. With true dedication to the cause a permanent marker was hastily applied, adding Freddie's iconic moustache and the icing on the cake of a day full of fun and laughter.
Included as part of the Ultimate Marryoke package is a wedding highlights video. Although we are only really supposed to be at a wedding to shoot the marryoke, we also like to film key highlights from the day and edit them into a 'best bits' montage.
For the final part of the couple's ultimate marryoke, we filmed their first dance and intercut it with scenes from the big day.
